All 8 drum tracks at once, 64 steps, with Drum Rack names and colors.
Probability
Per-step chance to play, plus a non-destructive global offset.
Length & ties
Staccato to multi-step ties that spill over into the next pages.
Ratcheting
2–8 evenly-spaced sub-hits per step, a roll on the grid.
Polyrhythm
Per-track loop lengths with independent playheads.
Groove & swing
Follows Live's Groove and Swing amounts, live and on export.
Parameter locks
Lock two of a drum pad's device params per step, Elektron-style.
Full Push 3
Pads, encoders, and buttons — tethered and standalone.
Get started
- Download
Puxi.amxd, move it into your Live User Library, and drag it onto a MIDI track. - Add a Drum Rack after Puxi on the same track.
- Hit play — and reach for Push 3 if you have one.
FAQ
What do I need?
Ableton Live 12 with Max for Live (included in Suite, an add-on for Standard). Puxi is a single .amxd.
Do I need a Push?
No — the mouse GUI does everything. A Push 3 adds hands-on pads, encoders and buttons.
Push 3 standalone?
Yes. Transfer the device to the Push and it runs without a computer. Push 2 is untested.
How much?
Free. No pro version, no unlock, no email wall. Open source under GPLv3.
